The Bachelor of Creative Arts (Hons) in 3D Animation Design is designed to nurture the talents of tomorrow's artists today. From the inception of an idea to the final creative works, students are trained to think, produce and speak the language of 3D animation.

Our team of passion-driven teaching staff employs a variety of approaches to inspire the best in students, both in conceptualisation as well as practical hands-on work. Immersed in a creative environment, students are encouraged to brave new possibilities with their skills and to create compelling 3D visuals with commercial viability.

English Requirements

  • Minimum score of Band 5 in MUET; Band 5.5 in IELTS; or a score of 213 (Computer-based) / 550 (Written-based) / 79 - 80 (Internet-based) in TOEFL.
  • Students are exempted from the above English requirements if they possess any of the following examination grades in their English subjects:
    • SPM (A+, A or A-); UEC (A1 or A2); a credit in O-Level (minimum C6); or 4 out of 7 in International Baccalaureate (IB)
    • Qualification/Examination is of English curriculum
  • If English Language requirements are not fulfilled, additional English module(s) may be taken at UCSI, concurrently with the above undergraduate programme

*International students holding equivalent academic qualifications but of non-English curriculum, are required to sit for the English Placement Test, which may result in the taking of the Certificate in English programme (1 to 10 months). Students who intend to pursue the above undergraduate programme directly, are advised to fulfill the above English requirements prior commencing their studies at the university.

Note / Legend Discretion is given to Head of School to deal with borderline Academic Requirements.
